Our Evangelical Faith

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, sovereign, loving, and the Creator of all things, visible and invisible.

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, fully authoritative, trustworthy, and sufficient for faith and life.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. Through Him alone is salvation offered to all who repent and believe.

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. All who believe are justified, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and adopted into the family of God.

We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, empowers believers for holy living, unites the Church, and equips the saints for service and witness.

We believe in the one holy, universal Church—the body of Christ—sent into the world to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel, and make disciples of all nations.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried
He descended to the dead;
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit;
The holy catholic Church;
The communion of saints;
The forgiveness of sins;
The resurrection of the body;
And the life everlasting.
Amen.
